Dreadlock installation
Dreadlocks made from scratch in your own hair, by crochet needle, no chemicals.
Learn moreLocks break, thin out at the base, merge into each other or were simply made badly. There is almost always a fix — and that fix is almost never cutting everything off.

Thin or already broken bases where a lock hangs on by a few strands. Locks that snapped and are now short in the middle of long hair. Root tangles where several locks fused into one plate. Work made with wax or glue that never properly closed.
Rebuilding means reintroducing material, redistributing weight and closing the structure again with the needle until it is solid. Where it makes sense we integrate hair — natural or synthetic — to give the repaired point back its length and strength.
Before booking we ask for close-up photos: roots, the base of the locks and the tips. From those we tell you what is recoverable, what is better sacrificed and how long the work takes.
If we think it is not worth it, we say so. We would rather lose a booking than do work that will not last.
In most cases, yes. We reinforce the base and integrate hair to recover length and strength. The result sits very close to the neighbouring locks.
It takes more work, but it is doable. We assess how much product is trapped inside and explain clearly where the limits are.
